Meet the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) - Dr. Michael C. Threatt

I'm honored to serve as the new CEO of the Sanford Housing Authority (SHA), and I'm excited to share the very first issue of our SHA Connects Newsletter with you!

SHA Connects is a new way for us to keep you informed, share helpful resources, and build a stronger connection between SHA and our residents. This newsletter is just the beginning; we're working on even more ways to stay connected.

We are currently development a brand-new website, which is scheduled to launch in mid-November. It will include a text-message alert system to help you stay updated on important news and reminders. We'll also have mobile app so you can: request work orders, apply for housing, check your spot on the waiting list, and pay your rent online.

Our presence on social media is being developed too! You'll soon be able to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Twitter to stay updated and engaged.

We've introduced our new values to guide our leadership and staff. Our leadership team follows the values "WE CAN," and our organization stands by the values of "I CAN." These values help us stay focused on serving you with excellence, care, and innovation.

Finally, I would like to share that we have pressed the RESET button, have started to RENEW our culture, and are working to REFRAME what a housing authority of the future looks like as we travel our ROADMAP 2030 five-year strategic plan.

Thanks for being part of the SHA Community!

Warm Regards,

Dr. Michael C. Threat
CEO
