The Housing Authority offers several ways to help Sanford residents who need to move into stable housing and work toward self-sufficiency. Through our Public Housing Program, we assist families with low-cost permanent housing, resident support services, and opportunities to enroll in job training, the family self-sufficiency program, and more. Through our Housing Choice Voucher Program (formerly known as Section 8), qualified applicants can secure rental housing in the private market.
