SPECIAL VIRTUAL MEETING OF THE
BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
SANFORD HOUSING AUTHORITY
THURSDAY, JULY 17, 2025, AT 6:00 P.M.
VIA ZOOM
The special virtual meeting of the members of the Sanford Housing Authority Board of Commissioners was held virtually on ZOOM on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 6:00 p.m.
The special virtual board meeting was advertised on the Sanford Housing Authority website, www.sha-nc.org, and as a Legal Ad in the Sanford Herald.
- Roll Call: The special virtual board meeting was called to order at 6:02 p.m. by Vice Chairwoman Dalrymple on roll call. The following members were present:

Christina Barrow, Interim Lead Resident Services Coordinator - Approval of Agenda: Chairwoman Dr. Wicker made a motion to approve the agenda for the July 17, 2025, special virtual board meeting. It was seconded by Commissioner Williams. All were in favor; the motion passed unanimously.

- Resolution 2025-34: Approval of the Revision of the FY2024 Annual Plan for the Significant Amendment - Section 18 Demolition Application Process of Stewart Manor Chairwoman Dr. Wicker made the motion that the Sanford Housing Authority Board of Commissioners approve Resolution 2025-34, authorizing the Revision of the FY2024 Annual Plan to include a Significant Amendment related to the Section 18 Demolition Application Process for Stewart Manor. This action supports SHA's efforts to preserve affordable housing resources, including the 100 Tenant Protection Vouchers (TPVs), and to proceed with the necessary steps for demolition in compliance with HUD regulations. It was seconded by Commissioner Williams. All were in favor; the motion passed unanimously.
- Resolution 2025-35: Approval of the FY2025 Annual Plan, Revision #1 to the FY2024-2028 Five-Year Plan, Significant Amendment, and the Revised Capital Fund Program Five-Year Action Plan Chairwoman Dr. Wicker made the motion Sanford Housing Authority Board of Commissioners approve Resolution 2025-35, adopting the FY2025 Annual Plan, Revision #1 to the FY2024-2028 FiveYear Plan, a Significant Amendment, and the Revised Capital Fund Program Five-Year Action Plan. This approval reflects SHA's updated strategic priorities, including the planned demolition of Stewart Manor, the preservation of TPVs, and the reallocation of capital resources to support long-term redevelopment and housing stability. It was seconded by Commissioner Williams. All were in favor; the motion passed unanimously.
