Job description
Now hiring an HVAC Maintenance Technician for apartment communities at the Sanford Housing Authority. The HVAC Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the overall maintenance of their assigned community. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Ideal candidate will have experience with basic electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
- Apartment turns/make-readies.
- Complete assigned work orders.
- Resident Service Requests.
- Daily grounds clean up.
- Provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Must have an EPA Universal Certification
- Dependability and Integrity, attendance is an imperative job function.
- Demonstrate the ability to do the tasks described above without seeking help from outside contractors.
- Physical ability to climb ladders and stairs, bend, reach, move, and lift 50lbs.
- Basic tools, i.e. screwdriver, wrench, hammer paint scraper, etc.
- Must have 1 year apartment maintenance experience.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Must have reliable means of transportation.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
