The Sanford Housing Authority (SHA) is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified contractors to provide General Maintenance, Vacancy Preparation, and Janitorial Services for SHA and affiliated properties located in Sanford, North Carolina.

Last Day for Questions: Friday, August 15, 2025, at 4:00 PM EST
Proposal Submission Deadline: Monday, September 1, 2025, at 4:00 PM EST (Extended to Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 3:00 PM EST based on the Labor Holiday and the SHA being closed for the holiday.)

RFP 25-001 General Maintenance, Vacancy Prep and Janitorial Services
Real Estate Financial Advisory Services RFP No. 2023-1
Sanford Housing Authority is seeking services of an experience, licensed/certified contractor/vendor to provide the following services:
Firm to provide Real Estate Financial Advisory Services for the (SHA) and its Affiliates. To include but not be limited to periodic issuance of revenue indebtedness, projects involving multiple sources of funding such as the Rental Housing Demonstration (RAD) program, Project-Based Vouchers (PBV), Housing Choice Vouchers, Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), State funding, funding from the Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB), Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and other available resources, bonds, Section 30 bonds and other financing programs, preparation of various funding applications and technical assistance following the award of applications, etc.
SHA will receive electronic submissions of Proposals on or before Monday, January 8, 2024 (No later than 5:00 pm on January 8, 2024). Late submissions shall not be accepted.
Request for Qualifications for Audit Services
The Sanford Housing Authority is accepting proposals from qualified CPA firms to provide audit services for the three (3) fiscal year end periods beginning September 30, 2024, and ending with September 30, 2027; an additional two (2) year option is available. Proposals must be received by 5PM, Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at 317 Chatham Street, Sanford, NC 27330.
